Old Europe Today
As Shaman, when it comes to tradition, I have found healing available in a variety of ways.
They all lead to the same spirit regardless of tradition as I have found. It is just getting there, and that is what I do. Find there.
In addition to many other traditions, which ultimately connect to the same light, source, or Spirit. It is primarily the Nordic and Celtic traditions, and their incarnations of Shamanism, in which I set my vision.
Including this overlay or even a deep dive specifically about these traditions, include the Nordic Runes, is available with everything at Wind and Raven. It is all you.
About the two traditions:
In the beliefs of the old Norse, the world tree Yggdrasil connects the nine realms on which Midgard, or Earth, is one. While today we may not think of things in quite so stark of terms, this complex and somewhat overlooked spiritual tradition is rich. As a religion, it features all the standard teachings, a likable and accessible polytheistic cast of gods, goddesses, and all manner of other mystical entities and events.
The beginnings of things in the Irish Celtic tradition tells of the Tuatha de Danann who came from the clouds and burned their ships on the shores of land of Aron to become kings of what is today Ireland. Their stories and characters fill Celtic lore and embody the heart of how I engage this tradition.
In their stories are contained timeless wisdom that still carry the same, and it is not hard to do. Life has changed a lot since the time of the Celtic people who actively and widely practiced what little we know of their religious interactions with the world, and in the last thousand or so years since Christianity finished off the Norse as they had the Celts centuries before, times have certainly changed.
But the messages have not, and for some of us the rawness of their delivery is exactly what we need because it is who we are. Not everyone is cut out for the 9-5 world per se, they question things, they value freedom to pursue older spiritual traditions, and they will rise to any occasion.
So why can’t we apply these eager hearts with old world traditions and come up with a modern day way of incorporating that into our lives to make them reflect who we are and not the other way around? Let’s head down that path and try.
Due to this type of offering being highly customization please contact me so we can discuss.
